Dispute Resolution

US dispute-resolution bodies

Each state regulates its own operators. Florida complaints go to the Florida Gaming Control Commission; New Jersey complaints go to the Division of Gaming Enforcement under the Department of Law and Public Safety; Michigan complaints go to the Michigan Gaming Control Board. All three accept written complaints by online form and all three require that you have attempted operator resolution first. Timelines vary from 30 to 90 days depending on the state and the complexity of the dispute. The regulators do not act as a court; they issue findings that bind the operator and can order account restoration or refund, but they do not award damages.

How to raise a complaint

Start with Hard Rock Bet customer service through the in-app live chat or the 24/7 US phone line; most issues resolve there within one business day. If the first contact does not land, use the complaints escalation path in the Hard Rock Bet help centre — the escalation form keeps a ticket number so you can track progress and quote it later. Keep the ticket number: every regulator and dispute-resolution body will ask for it before they can look at the case.

What to prepare before you write

You will move faster if you collect the following before the first message: account username, the exact date and time of the event in your local time zone, the deposit or withdrawal reference number if money is involved, screenshots of the bet slip or game round and a short written timeline. If the complaint touches a bonus, add the promo code you used and the terms-and-conditions screen that applied when you accepted it. Hard Rock Bet logs these on their side too, but matching timestamps shortens the back-and-forth.

What this site can and cannot do

We can read your complaint, we can tell you which escalation step is next, and we can point you to the right state regulator. We cannot see inside your Hard Rock Bet account, we cannot talk to their support on your behalf, we cannot pay out money, and we cannot force a decision. The usefulness of our help ends where the operator's and the regulator's work begins.

Operator-level complaints

Hard Rock Bet publishes a complaints policy inside the help centre that commits to an initial response within one business day and a substantive answer within 10 to 15 business days, depending on the nature of the dispute. For money-movement cases the operator may ask for identity verification material a second time — that is standard. If a case takes longer than 15 business days without a substantive answer, that is the point at which escalation to a dispute-resolution body is appropriate.
